Chapter 3450: The Art of Ascension
“Yeeeeart! What I crave is your life! Star God! No mercy!”
The Necron tomb ship in the sky once again fired a deadly weapon, or rather, it unleashed all of its firepower, slamming it down on Sochoyan.
That was enough energy to annihilate a world. The impact of gauss and particles was amplified billions of times under the power of folded dimensions, and the pale planet trembled under such an energy impact.
However, the towering avatar of the Star God simply raised a hand, and the rift that opened like a giant claw dissolved this star-destroying power like a shield. Then, with a light swipe of the hand holding the sword, the huge tomb ship immediately tilted to one side and was dragged towards the ground by an invisible force, eventually crashing into a canyon.
While Sochoyan easily dealt with the Necron tomb ship, Rakzan had already transformed into a transcendent energy form with the help of something. He roared and swept towards Sochoyan, his prism-like illusory figure carrying shifting brilliance and absorbing all the surrounding energy.
“Oh?”

Sochoyan let out a surprised sound. The other party's transformation was a bit like a Star God, but it was obviously not.
This energy body was very powerful, but unstable, and more like a suicidal method.
As it struggled to get closer to Sochoyan, the sky became bigger, and the universe bent around them, as if in this infinitely small moment, they were the fulcrum of all space.
In a certain instant, Sochoyan's consciousness entered a state of etherealness, and he felt a form of energy application that he had never been aware of in the past.
He seemed to have grasped something.
The magnificent stars stretched out before him, and he could feel a force connecting them together, causing them to rotate endlessly, never stopping, and everything had its time.
Then, he simply reached out his hand.
The universe cracked open, and Rakzan screamed and disappeared into the sky, as if swallowed by the stars.
When Sochoyan landed again, he returned to his human form, and at his feet was a mass of constantly tumbling, bubbling silver slime, as if it were scorching lava. It could roughly be seen as a human figure, and a face full of hatred and fear floated on the rising, bubbling silver surface.
Rakzan was obviously not familiar with that kind of energy form. He even had difficulty controlling it. After Sochoyan grasped the key point, he easily defeated it, and what was before him now was his most miserable end.
Perhaps it would die forever and be forgotten.
Sochoyan lowered his head and stared at that face, and then a smile appeared on his metallic face.
“Rakzan, who told you I was here?”
“.Star Gods deserve to die!”
“You have been captured here by Valgûl and the others for so long, but you have been able to endure without showing it, proving that you are not crazy, Rakzan. You even set up a scheme, a fairly ingenious scheme.”
Sochoyan reached out his hand, and the next second Rakzan was brought to the Flayed Temple.
The liquefied Phaeron was thrown onto the altar of the temple like a sacrifice. Sochoyan smiled and looked at him, with a cube appearing in his hand. He could feel that it contained a considerable number of Star God shards, but he was not in a hurry to devour them. Now he was very cautious about this power and chose to put it away first.
“I already know your story, Kinslayer Rakzan.”
“.Star Gods deserve to die!”
“In fact, you know better than anyone who issued the order for biotransference. Can the Star Gods directly issue orders to the dynasties?”
“.Star Gods deserve to die!”
“If the Silent King was so easily deceived, then how could he have so decisively attacked the Star Gods the first time after the Old Ones were destroyed? Do you think this is an action that could be taken without any prior preparation?”
“.Star Gods...”
Sochoyan then removed his avatar form and turned into a mortal appearance.
“The reason why I was able to become a Star God is largely due to the Silent King Szarekh's plan, Rakzan. Have you ever thought that the Star Gods would be bored enough to interfere with the Necrons' military deployments? Or do you think they would be interested in military command? Who exactly can issue the order to send the Sukan Dynasty to the most dangerous front line? I think you actually know these things, but you just dare not believe it, dare not believe that you have been the one being deceived all along, your ideas have always been wrong, and you are afraid of being wrong.”
“.Star Gods...”
“Including the final division of the Sukan Dynasty, tsk tsk tsk, what a ruthless political machine, squeezing out every last bit of your value before throwing you away. Do you know who I'm talking about?”
“Of course, you can die. I'm not such a heartless person, but are you really willing to? Don't you want to seek justice for yourself, even just once? ”
Rakzan began to mutter to himself.

“.Father... I was wrong... I know I was wrong... Father...”
“Who exactly told you I was here?”
After murmuring for more than ten seconds, Rakzan answered in a lifeless, gray tone:
“Trazyn... he let me use half of the Star God shards in my hand as an exchange... and told me a method of ascension...”
“A method of ascension? What is it?”
“The world-spirits of the Aeldari... their power... after absorbing it, one can enter... ascension...”
“World-spirits!?”
Hearing this, Sochoyan immediately showed a surprised expression.
“Aren't you isolated from psychic energy? How can you use this kind of psychic power?”
“Trazyn didn't explain, he just told me the method.”
“It's him again, it's him again, what exactly is he trying to do?”
With a moment of doubt in his heart, Sochoyan realized that he had discovered something very important, which was that the Necrons could utilize the energy of the world-spirits. This was somewhat illogical, but considering the essence of Asuryan, could this be explained as the technology of the world-spirits actually originating from his hand, mixed with some deeper secrets?
It seems that the dynasty is right to focus on protecting the maiden worlds. I just don't know if the Silent King has also been secretly collecting these over the years. If so, then Trazyn's behavior is a bit like a reminder?
Thinking about the last time the other party appeared in the Flayed Temple, the seemingly thieving behavior also seemed to be a reminder.
Could it be that he wants to remind himself to pay more attention to the situation of the world-spirits?
What exactly is the position of this strange Necron Overlord?
Simply opposing the Silent King?
Or serving the ambitions of another Necron Lord? Like that Stormlord...
Dispelling these chaotic thoughts, Sochoyan decided to focus on the present. He already realized that Rakzan, as Ulgûl said, was more like a gift. A considerable part of the ascended energy still remained in his body. This energy was very primitive and pure, possessed the characteristics of psychic energy, and was quite similar to the Star Gods.
“Rakzan, I will give you a chance. I will not make any promises or any assurances. I disdain such lies to cover up shame. Everything is up to you to choose. This is a path of no return. The future may be more cruel than you think. It might be better to die.”
