#1559 - What should I do if I'm being tricked? Waiting online, it's urgent

Before, Chu Hao only thought that the Avici Hell outside was a bit unrealistic. After all, at most, it would just be some private torture and cruel punishments. Moreover, those souls would be tormented to the point of disintegration in minutes. How could there be anything like "ten million eons, seeking release without end"?

Not to mention that now Chu Hao could break into Avici Hell in minutes, only to find that the souls in Avici Hell couldn't withstand long-term torment. After all, most of those brought in were just ordinary people.

Ordinary human souls, no matter how strong, couldn't possibly withstand such tempering. They would soon disintegrate. This couldn't be called "ten million eons, seeking release without end."

However, now, seeing this Stupa, Chu Hao knew that even he, if defeated here, would probably face the fate of seeking release without end.

Because within this Stupa, the power of the soul was like a tangible substance. Under such enhancement, even the souls of ordinary people would not easily dissipate.

And within those earthenware jars, the corpses of great sinners were dismembered and well-preserved. Their souls still had a physical anchor, but they were unable to attach to it.

Therefore, their souls would eternally feel the pain of their limbs being torn apart, and they would forever experience the desolation and loneliness of this place.

This was the true Avici Hell.

Of course, Chu Hao had long been psychologically prepared for the private torture hell of the Western Paradise, so even knowing that beneath Avici Hell there was this Stupa Pagoda, Chu Hao was not surprised.

What Chu Hao was concerned about was the power of the soul within.

According to what Namo Sunlight Buddha had just said, this should be something that appeared together with the Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva, but Chu Hao knew nothing about the Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva.

Now, Chu Hao had a bit more interest in this Stupa Pagoda. How exactly did this Stupa Pagoda create the power of the soul?

What exactly is the power of the soul? Where does it come from?

This question had troubled Chu Hao for more than just a day or two.

Chu Hao naturally didn't think that this supreme power, strong enough to withstand the erosion of the torrent of time and space, was extracted from human souls.

Chu Hao was, after all, a quasi-sage who roamed the Three Realms, and he had been to places like the Underworld and the World of Five Turbidities more than once or twice.

Human souls, even a million of them, couldn't possibly extract even a tiny bit of the power of the soul, because human souls were very simple. The so-called "when a person dies, they become a ghost; when a ghost dies, they become a 𫆏; when a 𫆏 dies, they become a 希; when a 希 dies, they become nothing."

Of course, most of them would directly turn into the energy of heaven and earth after the ghost died, becoming a part of nature.

As for gods and immortals, although they had more primordial spirits, and even true spirits, even if more gods and immortals were added together, they would not have even a tiny bit of the power of the soul.

Otherwise, it would not be possible that for countless eons, there were only a few strong people who possessed the power of the soul.

Chu Hao himself was a person who possessed the power of the soul, but to be honest, Chu Hao didn't understand the essence of this thing, only knowing that it was bound to his soul and was more mysterious than the primordial spirit and true spirit.

Even if Chu Hao stepped into this Stupa of the Western Paradise at this moment and felt the strong power of the soul, Chu Hao could also feel a sense of separation from reality.

This Stupa, and the Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva who appeared at the same time, probably knew the true origin of the power of the soul.

Chu Hao looked at Namo Sunlight Buddha. He had just absorbed nearly two points of the power of the soul from him. Chu Hao was full of goodwill towards Namo Sunlight Buddha.

"Namo Sunlight Buddha, let me ask you one last question…"

Namo Sunlight Buddha's eyes showed a bit more vigilance, and he said:

"Just now, Your Excellency inquired about this Stupa Pagoda. This Stupa Pagoda is just a place used to imprison great sinners, and it is not an evil place. If Your Excellency wants to ask about the identity of the Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva, please forgive this humble monk for being unable to answer."

Chu Hao smiled.

"How can I ask directly? I'm not stupid… Also, you don't seem to be telling the truth. This Stupa Pagoda imprisons these great sinners, but it seems to be just on the surface, right? For example, this Stupa is used to create the power of the soul?"

Chu Hao: I'm asking you euphemistically.

The face of Namo Sunlight Buddha, who was still polite just now, changed visibly, staring at Chu Hao intently.

"Your Excellency Jail God, what are you talking about? This humble monk doesn't understand. Since you yourself possess the power of the soul, you should know that no one can create the power of the soul, not even my Western Paradise."

Chu Hao frowned. Namo Sunlight Buddha didn't seem to be lying. The power of the soul cannot be manufactured or produced. Then what is this Stupa for?

Moreover, there seems to be a strong power of the soul existing in this Stupa. Why is that?

Just as Chu Hao was struggling, Namo Sunlight Buddha said with a displeased expression:

"Didn't Your Excellency say you would give me a higher level of Dharma? Your Excellency has already asked for the answer you wanted, so why don't you quickly give me the supreme Dharma you promised?"

Namo Sunlight Buddha spoke with a firm tone, as if he didn't care at all about having all his power of the soul absorbed by Chu Hao just now.

Chu Hao felt the sudden change in Namo Sunlight Buddha and suddenly became vigilant.

Turning his head, Chu Hao suddenly widened his eyes.

At this moment, on top of the Stupa, a row of golden Buddhas were emitting light. At a glance, there were at least thirty or forty of them!

At this moment, a sinister smile appeared on Namo Sunlight Buddha's face.

"Jail God Chu Hao, did you think you could fool me with your glib tongue? I know that I alone cannot resist you, but with three thousand future Buddhas in my Western Paradise, wouldn't it be as easy as pie to deal with you?!"

"This Stupa Pagoda was built for the power of the soul, but you will become the nourishment! Hahahaha!"

Namo Sunlight Buddha flew up triumphantly, and in fact, he had indeed completely taken control of the situation.

Chu Hao looked at the group of things on the platform, and a bit of tension appeared in his expression.

To be honest, if it were Chu Hao, he probably wouldn't be able to deal with so many people. The only thing to do was to take down Namo Sunlight Buddha first.

However, Namo Sunlight Buddha also saw through Chu Hao's thoughts and rushed over directly, manually knocking open one golden Buddha statue after another.

Rumble!

As one Buddha after another walked out of the golden Buddha statues, even Chu Hao's expression became a bit egg-achey.

Namo Dragon Majesty Buddha, Namo Avatamsaka Buddha, Namo King of Kings Buddha, Namo Asura Wheel King Protector Buddha… Dozens of strong people in the quasi-sage realm rushed towards Chu Hao!
