Chapter 401 Dark Temple

Chapter 401 Dark Temple

Over the next two days, Kurdlan and Alleria split up into two groups and continued their reconnaissance, while the others were responsible for the construction of the camp.

With the help of the black dragon and the magician, the camp soon took shape. When the two scouts came back, Turalyon announced that they would march towards the Dark Temple.

Alvin sat on Onyxia's back, and the black dragon princess led Alvin and his party to attack from the sky. Turalyon and his party were marching below the black dragon.

This is a valley that stretches forward and seems to have no end.

However, Alvin could see from the sky that at the eastern end of the valley was the volcano called the Hand of Gul'dan.

As the intelligence showed, the top of the volcano is a huge crater, with green magma gushing out from it, forming a green magma waterfall, flowing to the western foot of the volcano, and forming a huge riverside lake below the volcano.

Maraad walked in front with the map, leading the main force south around the Devouring Lake.

"Don't go near the lake! Don't go too far into the valley away from the troops!"

Maraad had almost learned the common language in a short period of time. As he walked, he reminded the troops behind him to prevent any accidents from happening to those disobedient guys.

In the sky, two wizards, the Starwish sisters, were stunned by the green volcano.

"Oh my god, is this really a volcano summoned by Gul'dan's magic?"

Calpurnia couldn't believe that this was something a mortal could do.

"I heard there's a fire elemental lord called something like Big Screw. This guy can summon a volcano on the spot. Could it be that Gul'dan already has the power of an elemental lord?"

"It's Ragnaros,"

Her sister Solanlian reminded her,

"Although it's indeed a bit unbelievable, I think if you practice hard, you should be able to master it. After all, the magic of Oni is endless, and what we have mastered is only a small part of it."

Alvin nodded.

"Your sister is right. Just like the mass teleportation technique and the Fire Phoenix you mastered before, it is almost a miracle in the eyes of ordinary people."

"Alvin, is there any news about Ner'zhul later?"

Solanlian asked,

"He is in the Dark Temple with some of his remaining troops."

Alvin replied.

"Alleria's reconnaissance team brought back news that his main force was dispersed when we entered Shadowmoon Valley. Now only a small number of troops and his death knight squad are still with him."

"Death Knight...Talon Gorefiend?"

Calpurnia said: "It's the guy who attacked us in Dalaran and stole the Eye of Dalaran!"

"That's right, those guys are not easy to deal with."

"But we've cornered them at the Black Temple, and now they have nowhere to escape," Alvin continued. "Once they get there, Turalyon will soon besiege them. These guys will have nowhere to flee, and no reinforcements."

"Great! Defeat Ner'zhul, take the Skull of Gul'dan and the Eye of Dalaran, and we can go home!"

"Correct!"

Elwin patted Onyxia and said to everyone, "When the time comes, Turalyon and Danath will attack from the front, and Onyxia will take us directly to Ner'zhul's rooftop. Our mission is to decapitate Ner'zhul and stop his spellcasting."

"Onyxia, Alkaritassa, many enemies will rush onto the platform. You need to block the doorway and prevent them from rushing up."

"If any fish slip through the net and still rush in, then Yrel, Green Shadow, you are responsible for killing those guys who sneak in and don't let them disturb me."

"Finally, I will face Ner'zhul, with Calpurnia and Solanlian assisting me from afar! Use your strongest magic!"

"Remember, use all your strength right from the start, kill all visible enemies, kill Ner'zhul, retrieve the Skull of Gul'dan, and then quickly leave this damn place. Do you understand?"

"Understood!"

Several girls nodded in unison, and even Onyxia let out a dragon roar.

"Very good! The Holy Light will protect us!"

Alvin grabbed Calpurnia and Solanlian from the left and right with his hands, and the two girls grabbed Green Shadow and Akalitraza, and finally the few of them held hands and formed a circle.

Alvin activated the power of holy light in his body, spreading the warm holy light, covering several people. The circle of light slowly expanded, and finally even covered the black dragon.

Everyone on the march looked up and paid attention. Alvin's black dragon was like a little sun, emitting warm light, sweeping away the uncomfortable purple light of Shadowmoon Valley.

With a map and griffin riders leading the way in the sky, the large army crossed the valley in just one day.

Another reason why Turalyon chose to set up camp in Shadowmoon Valley was to wait for support from Hellfire Citadel and Alleria Fortress.

No one wants to miss this final battle.

Finally, in the early morning of the next day, the alliance troops finally bypassed the volcano from the valley. When everyone walked out of the valley east of the volcano, everyone was stunned.

Temple of Darkness.

It was a huge existence, dark and dirty, like a huge iron mountain located in the far east.

Even the volcano behind it cannot compare with its grandeur.

Looking from a high place, Alvin saw that the entire temple still had some traces of Draenei architecture. The huge dome and stone pillars were obviously the same as the temples he had seen before, and even some of the stone slabs in the Auchenai Crypts. They were originally made of stone materials that could emit bright luster, but now they were like black magnets wrapped in a layer of dirty iron sand.

The entire building is like a black hole that absorbs light, mercilessly tearing apart the light that is scattered on it.

Dark clouds loomed over the Dark Temple, and lightning struck from time to time, hitting the roof of the Dark Temple, emitting colorful sparks and loud noises.

The Alliance soldiers' horses and griffins all let out mournful cries and stopped moving. Some of them even began to tremble.

The animals' instincts told them that the temple was an ominous place. Without the control of their master, many animals would probably run away.

"This is fucking weird!"

Kurdlan gently soothed his griffin and slowly landed.

Alvin shared the view with Onyxia, carefully observing the layout of the Dark Temple.

From the top, you can see a straight corridor. At the end of the corridor, turn right and go up the stairs to enter a tower-like structure. Coming out of the tower is the largest platform.

The orcs were already on full alert, with huge crossbows and catapults deployed on the walls and heights of the Dark Temple, wolf riders patrolling the city, and warlocks hiding in dark corners.

It looks like they are ready for battle.

Alvin looked around carefully and finally found a circular platform similar to the one he used to fight the final boss in the previous game.

An altar was placed in the center, guarded by many orc soldiers. An orc with his face painted with white powder to look like a skull was raising his hands high and muttering something.

"What's going on?" Turalyon shouted from below.

"What's that thunder?"

"Damn it!"

Irwin paused casting Mind Vision and shouted to Turalyon and the others below, "I see Ner'zhul! He's already started casting!"

"Can you stop him?"

"We have to stop him!"

Turalyon looked around and saw that almost all the Alliance soldiers were looking at him.

The time had come. Turalyon drew forth the Broken Sword—the blade of Anduin Lothar, the Lion of Azeroth.

Everything will end today, Turalyon thought to himself, and roared at the loudest volume of his life.

"Alliance! Attack!"
