Chapter 682 Fire in the Backyard
Chapter 682 Fire in the Backyard
Sandys clapped her hands suddenly, a look of sudden enlightenment flashing in her eyes.
"That's right! How could we forget her! Stellagrasa! She's a blue dragon, her perception of magic and arcane energy far surpasses any of ours! If what Cho'gall took really contains powerful void or arcane energy, she might be able to track down any remaining traces!"
Alvin laughed and said, "So everything is for the best! Let's go, let's go back to find her right away!"
Without further delay, the two quickly left the interrogation room and hurried back towards the main tent of the camp.
Elwin had witnessed the Blue Dragon's abilities firsthand on the big guy's mage tower, and he firmly believed that Stella's abilities could break the current stalemate.
But as the two approached Alvin's room, a chaotic clattering sound, mixed with a girl's delicate shouts, came from inside!
Alvin's heart tightened, thinking something had happened, and he instinctively quickened his pace and reached out to push the door open.
The instant his fingers touched the heavy wooden door—
"boom--!!!"
The entire wooden door, along with its frame, was violently struck from the inside by a tremendous force and sent flying outwards! It landed squarely on the unsuspecting Elwin!
Wood chips and dust flew everywhere, and Alvin only had time to utter a short "Ugh!" before he was buried under the heavy curtain and wood scraps.
Shantis, who was following behind him, was startled by this sudden turn of events and instinctively took a half step back, her hand instantly pressing against the moon blade at her waist.
Once she realized it wasn't an enemy attack, she quickly dropped her weapon and ran forward to frantically move the heavy door and the broken wooden frame.
"Alvin! Are you alright?!"
Sandys' voice was unusually anxious as she forcefully ripped the debris off him.
"Ahem, what exactly happened?"
Fortunately, Elwin reacted quickly and cast a shield on himself before being hit.
Although he always complained that the shield was as thin as paper, it couldn't possibly be broken by a wooden door.
He hastily pushed his belongings aside, grabbed Sandy's hand, and stood up.
The scene inside the room left the two of them speechless.
In the center of the room, Akalittasa and Stellagossa, two dragon maidens, were wrestling together without any regard for their image!
Akalitassa, like a cat with its fur standing on end, hugged Stella tightly from behind, her fiery red head pressing against Stella's back, trying to knock her down.
One of her legs was even trying to trip Stella's ankle, while she yelled, "Serves you right for pretending to be asleep! Serves you right for ignoring me! Tell me, do you secretly like Alvin?!"
Stella was filled with shame and indignation; her beautiful face flushed crimson, all the way to her ears.
Although she appears more demure, the Blue Dragon's power is by no means weak.
She reached back to grab Akalitha's arm, twisting her body to try and break free, her long legs kicking wildly backward as she angrily retorted, "You, you're talking nonsense! You jerk! Let me go! Who, who would like that shameless guy!"
Their movements were completely haphazard, resembling the tearing and entanglement of little girls fighting.
Stella's once neat blue hair was now a mess, with a few strands sticking to her sweaty forehead.
Akalitta's clothes were also torn and twisted, revealing half of her shoulder.
They rolled around on the ground, knocking over the low table next to them. The water jug and cups on it had long since fallen to the ground and turned into a pile of shards.
Green Shadow sat leisurely on the edge of the bed a little further away, still with that gentle and serene demeanor.
She watched the two wrestling, her emerald-like eyes narrowing slightly.
"Oh my, Akali, Stella, when did you two become so close?"
"not good at all!"
both of them shouted in unison.
"Ah, Alvin, you're back!"
Green Shadow waved happily to Elwin, who, looking disheveled and coughing in a sorry state, could only ask helplessly, "What happened?"
Looking at the chaotic scene, then at the innocent-looking Green Shadow and Elwin who had just escaped the "disaster," Shandis felt a vein throbbing on her forehead.
She grabbed Alvin by the collar and yelled, "Make them stop! If they keep fighting, these two will destroy this newly built fortress!"
"Oh, right! Stop! What are you doing!"
Erwin couldn't help but raise his voice and shout.
The two men, caught in the midst of their struggle, noticed the commotion at the door and froze simultaneously.
Akalitta saw Elwin, covered in dust from being slapped by the curtain, and Shandris, who had a frosty expression. She immediately jumped away as if her tail had been stepped on, stuck out her tongue guiltily, let go of the curtain, and tidied her messy clothes and hair.
Stella let out a startled "Ah!" and sprang to her feet. Her face, already flushed from the playful fight, was now burning with embarrassment.
Her clothes were ripped so badly that her chest was exposed. She hurriedly pulled them back, head down, wishing she could disappear into the ground and never look at Alvin again.
Especially what Akalitha said just now, being exposed in front of the person involved, is practically a social death for her.
Seeing that the two had stopped fighting, Erwin slowly stood up and walked between them.
Judging from Stella's disheveled appearance and tearful eyes, it was obvious that she had been bullied terribly by Akalitassa.
"Alright, alright, I know you're just joking around. Akali, don't bully Stella. She's older than you. You should call her 'older sister,' not 'big lizard' all the time, understand?"
"Okay... since Brother Erwin says so... I won't do it again..."
"Tell me, why is that?"
"because......"
"It's nothing! We were just joking around!"
Stella quickly covered Akalitha's mouth, shaking her head and saying, "We were just joking, you know, we're all dragons, and dragons are all like that, the deeper the bond, the more they fight! Right? Look at us blue dragons, haha, don't we fight all the time?"
As she spoke, she winked at Akali. Akali, who had been struggling, stopped talking when she saw this, even though she didn't understand what was going on.
"Alright... since you put it that way."
"Akali, didn't you say you'd take care of Stella? You can't do that anymore."
"Yes......"
Akalitassa stuck out her tongue.
"I'm sorry, Stella."
"No, it's okay."
"The matter is resolved! I told you you two had a good relationship, didn't I?"
Green Shadow chuckled, "Alvin, Sandy, you rushed back, did you discover something?"
Alvin brushed the dust and sawdust off his clothes, looked at the several women in front of him, each with a different style, yet all of whom he cared about, and sighed helplessly.
The backyard almost caught fire, but thankfully it was calmed down...
He briefly recounted the information he had obtained during the interrogation and his purpose in coming to see Stella.
"That's easy, I'll try to find it right now!"
Stella nodded.
