Chapter 1819 - 1448: Moved (Part 3)
"Since there’s no mandatory mission right now, you can consider doing something dangerous with me; however, the reward is very generous. Of course, if you’re not willing, I won’t force you. Don’t feel pressured to do it just for my sake."
Su Mo pondered for a moment, then spoke to Mo Baoke, Xiao Wen, and Chen Shan.
Beside them, Qian Chengxue’s cold face showed a trace of worry upon hearing Su Mo’s words, even though Su Mo hadn’t said anything about why they should stay.
But she more or less guessed that there must be something special to do.
"We’re going with you."
Xiao Wen and Chen Shan replied without the slightest hesitation.
Mo Baoke, however, felt conflicted; he grew anxious upon hearing the word ’dangerous’.
Chen Shan turned to Mo Baoke and said, "You’re a grown man, why are you hesitating like a woman? Make up your mind, are you going or not?"
"I’m going! Following the boss means eating well."
Mo Baoke finally agreed, gritting his teeth.
"Great, we can fight side by side again."
Su Mo patted Mo Baoke and the others’ shoulders, feeling sentimental; for a moment, he almost felt as if he had returned to the past.
"When do we depart?"
Xiao Wen calmly asked Su Mo.
"No rush, my ship still needs repairs, and I need to figure out how to fully replenish the ammunition."
Thinking of this, Su Mo felt it was quite troublesome.
Mo Baoke eagerly asked, "Boss, how much ammo do you need? Let me help you figure it out. I know some merchants; though the prices are steep, I might be able to arrange something."
"At least 5500W missiles, and it would be best if there are nuclear bombs and antimatter missiles."
Su Mo roughly calculated and said.
Mo Baoke, upon hearing Su Mo’s words, was dumbfounded, his mouth agape.
"So many... Boss, listen, that quantity, with the whole restock point, nobody can provide that. If someone could bring out that much, I’d write my name backward."
"Mo Baoke is right; even if we sweep all the stalls in the trading zone here, we wouldn’t get that much."
Xiao Wen also felt it was quite troublesome, saying.
"This is a dilemma."
Su Mo felt he had hit a dead end.
"Not necessarily."
Qian Chengxue suddenly spoke up.
Su Mo looked at Qian Chengxue with some surprise and asked curiously.
"Do you have a solution?"
"I have an idea. Although it’s not perfect and quite troublesome, it might work."
Qian Chengxue spoke with great confidence.
"Let’s hear it."
Su Mo replied with hope.
"Mo Baoke and Xiao Wen are right; the whole restock point can’t provide us with supplies. But, if we can convince all the ships retreating from the battlefield to contribute their remaining ammunition to us, accumulating bit by bit, maybe we can replenish the Immortal Blade."
Qian Chengxue shared her idea.
"Good idea, feasible!"
After a little thought, Su Mo replied happily.
"Boss, leave this kind of thing to me. With your status, anyone who doesn’t cooperate will certainly hand over the ammunition obediently."
Mo Baoke rubbed his hands together excitedly and said.
"No, I’ll handle this myself; it can’t be forced."
Su Mo, after listening to Mo Baoke, suddenly reacted and rejected his self-recommendation.
"Ah? Not this kind of work... How can you do it, Boss? You have me, your loyal follower; it pains my heart."
Mo Baoke, unabashedly, started flattering Su Mo again.
Beside them, Chen Shan shuddered and interrupted with annoyance.
"Stop, stop, Mo Baoke, can you act normal for once."
"I’m perfectly normal, every word I say comes from the bottom of my heart; my intentions are genuine."
...
"Stop, don’t say anymore. Just transport the extra ammunition to the Immortal Blade; I’ll handle the rest."
Su Mo felt a headache coming on.
"Alright."
Mo Baoke was a bit regretful, losing his chance to shine.
Su Mo turned to Qian Chengxue and said, "Let’s go to the command center of the Athens gathering restock point and borrow their broadcast system."
"Okay."
Qian Chengxue nodded in agreement.
...
A moment later, the broadcast echoed through every region and communication channel of the Athens gathering restock point.
"Folks, I am Su Mo of the Royal Order of Twelve Knights, sorry to disturb everyone."
Immediately, all personnel at the Athens gathering restock point, whether from any country or from Star Ring City’s direct units, unless they were involved in rescue operations, paused.
People began whispering and discussing.
"How come the Royal Order of Twelve Knights is here?"
"Has something happened?"
...
"Ahem, firstly, on behalf of Star Ring City, I thank all the personnel for fighting bravely on the battlefield. Additionally, I urgently need to return to the battlefield and require emergency resupply, specifically a massive amount of ammunition. So, I humbly ask to borrow some ammo from everyone here."
Su Mo, thick-skinned, spoke sincerely to everyone.
Upon hearing this, voices of agreement echoed through the communication channel.
"Commander Su Mo, we were wondering what you’d say; if you need supplies to fight on the front lines against those Eternal Sleep Clan bastards, we absolutely support you. You don’t need to borrow ammo; we’re giving whatever’s left from the Blue Fish to you. Don’t mind if it’s too little, we just ask you to kill more on the battlefield!"
"That’s right, wipe out those scumbags; we’re willing to offer our ammo too."
...
Instantly, the communication channel was filled with voices of support.
