Lin Chuyue stood in front of the large French windows in her office, looking at the sky outside that was gradually darkening, but felt an indescribable sense of relief.

“However, you need to be prepared for what’s to come.” Gu Yanchuan’s voice was no longer as cold as usual, but rather carried a hint of deepness. “The other members of the board of directors will certainly not let Shen Fang’s influence go easily. You will face even more challenges.”
Lin Chuyue nodded slightly, a determined glint in her eyes: "I know. I'm ready."
Gu Yanchuan looked at her, a barely perceptible smile appearing on his lips. He stood up, walked over to her, and said softly, "You did very well, Chuyue."
