Nirvana Heiress: Reborn and Returning to Stir Up a Storm

Chapter 193 Important Decision

Chapter 193 Important Decision

Zhao Zhenghai's face was ashen, his eyes flashing with pain and anger. He clearly hadn't expected Lin Chuyue to produce such overwhelming evidence. At this moment, he seemed to have completely lost his usual composure; the capital and resources he once possessed, which allowed him to control everything at will, had become meaningless. His lips trembled slightly, as if he wanted to speak but couldn't, seemingly unable to find the words to defend himself.

The atmosphere inside the meeting room was so oppressive it was almost suffocating. Every director stared intently at Zhao Zhenghai, awaiting his response. Lin Chuyue, however, remained standing at the table, calm and composed, her eyes sharp, as if she had foreseen this situation all along.

After a long while, Zhao Zhenghai finally managed to regain some composure. He took a deep breath, trying to suppress his anger: "Do you all believe this evidence?" He looked around, his gaze settling on the still hesitant directors. "Lin Chuyue, you're just using some cobbled-together materials to threaten us. Do you think you can change anything?"

Lin Chuyue smiled gently, her eyes devoid of any mockery, only filled with deep determination: "Zhao Zhenghai, you can choose to ignore this evidence, but the result will only be that you have nowhere to retreat." She paused, her tone gradually becoming more serious, "The mistakes you made within the company were not just financial loopholes, but also breaches of moral and legal boundaries. Now that the truth has been revealed, I don't need to give you any more excuses."

Her voice was clear and calm, like a sharp knife piercing Zhao Zhenghai's heart. Every word carried invisible pressure, as if every moment of silence in the air would make Zhao Zhenghai sink deeper.

Zhao Zhenghai's face grew even paler, and his fingertips trembled slightly. He knew he had no way out. If he continued to hold firm to his position, everything would become even more complicated, and even the power he had accumulated over the years would be unable to withstand this sudden storm.

At that moment, Li Gang spoke again: "If President Zhao insists on not admitting his mistake, all board members will face legal scrutiny. Every one of you who participated in the decision-making process will become an accomplice to this conspiracy." His tone was calm and unhurried, but it clearly conveyed the threat of the law.

These words were like a bombshell, immediately causing many directors present to show expressions of unease. Although Zhao Zhenghai possessed considerable power, all his schemes paled in comparison to the law.

After a moment of silence, an older director finally stepped forward. He glanced around with a deep look and said slowly, "What President Lin said is true. We must make a decision." He turned to Zhao Zhenghai, his tone tinged with helplessness, "President Zhao, we can no longer stand on your side."

Seeing this, the other directors also expressed their views: "We must consider the future of the company."

"Mr. Zhao, this is no longer a simple business decision."

"We no longer have a choice."

Upon hearing these words, Zhao Zhenghai's expression completely changed. His body trembled slightly, and the rage flashing in his eyes almost consumed him. Finally, he sighed deeply, as if giving up on everything: "Fine, since you have all chosen to betray me, then I will no longer make a futile struggle." His words were heavy and hollow, as if he himself knew that everything had come to an end.

Lin Chuyue looked at him, her face devoid of joy or anger, only a calm indifference: "Zhao Zhenghai, I have never intended to oppose anyone, but your actions are intolerable." She calmly put away the documents and slowly sat back down in her seat. "Today, the future of the company will be decided by us together."

Inside the meeting room, Zhao Zhenghai finally sat back down in his seat, feeling utterly helpless. The directors who had once supported him also withdrew their support, lowered their heads, and remained silent.

Lin Chuyue's gaze swept over each director, finally settling on the older director: "From today onwards, the company will enter a new management phase. I hope that in the days to come, everyone will prioritize the company's interests and work together."

Her tone showed no hesitation or wavering, as if this transfer of power was already within her grasp.

After the meeting, Zhao Zhenghai was officially removed from the board of directors, and his business empire began to face the brink of collapse. Although Lin Chuyue achieved a brief victory, she understood that the real challenge had just begun.

As evening fell, Lin Chuyue and Li Zhanchuan walked out of the boardroom building side by side. Night had quietly fallen, and the bustling city streets were filled with traffic. The colorful neon lights illuminated their faces.

Li Zhanchuan smiled slightly, his tone relaxed: "You fought well in this tough battle."

Lin Chuyue nodded, her gaze still firm: "This is just the beginning. We need to be more cautious to ensure that the company is truly on the right track."

Li Zhanchuan reached out and gently patted her shoulder: "I will always be by your side, and I will never leave you."

Lin Chuyue was slightly taken aback and looked up at him. Their eyes met in mid-air, and instantly, the temperature in the air seemed to rise a few degrees. At that moment, her heart suddenly raced, and she was momentarily stunned. She knew that this tacit understanding had transcended the relationship between friends; it was as if, imperceptibly, they had quietly entered another stage.

She smiled gently and lowered her head: "Thank you."

The two walked side by side to the parking lot, facing an even more complex and challenging future. And they would continue to navigate this business storm together.
