Chapter 21 Ambiguous Relationship
Chapter 21 Ambiguous Relationship
Mingyue mistook it for the wind and, ignoring it, continued to move forward.
Han Yi glanced to the side and saw that it was Hui Xin, that fat guy, struggling to squeeze in. He quickly called out, "Senior Brother Comet!" He desperately signaled to her to stop with his eyes.
"What!" Huixin replied impatiently.
"It's nothing!" Han Yi replied casually.
Upon hearing this, Mingyue immediately straightened her posture, hurriedly smoothed her hair, her cheeks flushed red, and her eyes darted around.
She was extremely annoyed; she had just started kissing Huixin when Huixin ruined her good time.
Huixin finally managed to squeeze in, carefully holding a large bowl of chicken soup in both hands. The bowl looked particularly small in his chubby hands.
The chicken soup was steaming hot and fragrant. He walked along, making jokes as he went.
"Hurry up and drink this chicken soup. Grandma went to great lengths to make it. You're lucky to have it! This soup is made from Spirit Flame Phoenix Chicken. It has phoenix blood, is very nourishing, and can even absorb pure flame power."
Huixin walked to the bedside, bent down and handed the chicken soup to Han Yi. Her belly was squeezed out of shape, but he still couldn't help but make a few sarcastic remarks.
"You're lucky, kid. Your injuries are all healed, and you still get to drink this good stuff. I'm so envious. Hurry up and take it. You're not waiting for me to feed you, are you?"
Han Yi was still immersed in the awkwardness of the moment and hadn't reacted until Hui Xin complained again, which brought him back to his senses. He then feigned politeness.
"My injuries are completely healed, I don't need chicken soup, you drink it, senior brother." He said this, but his hand was quite honest, already reaching out to take it.
“Good junior brother, I haven’t spoiled you for nothing! I’ll drink this soup for you.” Huixin picked up the bowl and was about to drink.
Mingyue, quick as a flash, snatched the bowl away. "How can you act like a senior brother? You even steal chicken soup from a patient."
She snatched the chicken soup and gave him a disdainful look.
Huixin was speechless. She turned around, grabbed Han Yi by the collar, and demanded, "What kind of curse did you cast on my senior sister?"
He was feeling incredibly frustrated. He had spent a lot of money on medicine for this kid, and he couldn't even have some chicken soup to replenish his energy. How could he not be angry?
Mingyue quickly stopped her, and with that back and forth, the awkward atmosphere from before dissipated.
Mingyue picked up the bowl, gently stirred the chicken soup with a wooden spoon, scooped up a spoonful, blew on it to cool it down, and brought it to his lips.
"This chicken soup will be good for your cultivation. Open your mouth."
The fat Taoist priest, watching this scene, was so shocked that his eyes almost popped out. His face was full of disbelief. He slowly turned his face to the side, thinking to himself: "My senior sister has been corrupted by love. Master was right. Beauty is like a wolf or a tiger. This 'illness' needs to be cured quickly!"
Han Yi glanced at the spoon being offered to his mouth, then at Mingyue's expectant eyes, and kept gesturing to her that there were other people around, and asked if she could be more mindful of her behavior!
Huixin, the fat man, was sensible enough not to look at the two of them at all, staring at the roof beam while drawing circles on the ground with his feet.
"Open your mouth, or I'll drink it all," Huixin said.
Han Yi had no choice but to bite the bullet and take a small sip. As soon as the chicken soup entered his throat, a warm and powerful spiritual energy spread out along with the aura of flames, and he could feel subtle changes in his body.
After finishing the chicken soup, Mingyue and the other person asked him how he got injured on which day.
Han Yi leaned against the headboard, sighed, and his thoughts drifted back to the mountains and forests. He slowly recounted what had happened, without hiding anything.
He instinctively reached into his clothes, where he usually hid a black stone the size of a fingernail.
After searching for a long time, Han Yi couldn't find anything, and his expression changed instantly.
