Chapter 13 Assist Plan
Chapter 13 Assist Plan
On the other side, at the Wen family's luxurious private villa.
Today, Wen Tingye and his son are going to the old man's house to pick up Wen Baoying and take her home.
"Aishu, let's go." Wen Tingye changed into a suit, stretched out his hand, and beckoned to Sanbao with his four fingers together.
Sanbao sat nervously on the sofa, his gaze fixed on his father, Wen Tingye, with a hint of curiosity in his eyes.
Is this his dad? He's tall and handsome, better looking than any man he's ever seen. And he's looked him up; his dad is a very outstanding person, and he and his mom are a perfect match.
"Aishu?" Seeing that his son did not respond, Wen Tingye raised his voice and called out again, his deep eyes filled with doubt.
Sanbao then realized that he was being called, and hurriedly responded, running to stand beside Wen Tingye in his shiny little leather shoes.
Wen Tingye glanced at him and felt that Wen Aixiu was acting very strangely today. When would this kid be so dazed?
Sanbao was afraid of giving himself away again, so he didn't dare to look up at his father and silently followed at his feet.
After getting in the car, Wen Tingye didn't say much to Wen Aixiu the whole way; the father and son were both taciturn.
Sanbao was a little afraid of Wen Tingye like this. He always felt that Wen Tingye was very distant from him and there was no sense of intimacy between them. He was different from his mother.
I suddenly feel a little sorry for Da Bao.
Da Bao is really pitiful.
The car quickly arrived at its destination, and Wen Tingye got out first.
Seeing the magnificent and spacious manor, Sanbao was afraid that he might get lost, so he stayed close behind Wen Tingye the whole way.
Grandpa Wen was playing with his granddaughter Wen Baoying in the Chinese-style mahogany pavilion in the backyard, while Grandma Wen sat elegantly to the side, leisurely drinking coffee. Occasionally, she would catch a glimpse of the old man and the little girl playing around and would smile gently.
A heartwarming and joyful scene of children and grandchildren doting on each other.
Logically speaking, Wen Tingye was the youngest child of his parents' generation, and should have been pampered and cherished like this in his childhood. However, because he was the only heir of the Wen family, he received a very strict education from a young age, so he never experienced such feelings.
Wen Tingye walked into the courtyard, his fierce aura from the outside world gone, and said to the elderly couple who were playing with their granddaughter, "Dad, Mom, I've come to pick up Baoying and take her home."
Upon hearing this, Old Master Wen gave Wen Tingye a cool glance, seemingly disgusted by his presence.
The son's appearance meant he was going to take their beloved granddaughter away. The thought of not seeing this adorable little girl for another week made Old Master Wen feel uneasy. He raised his hand and ruffled his granddaughter's soft black hair, suppressing his anger as he said, "Who told you to come over so early in the morning? They don't start school until tomorrow. Let Ai Xiu stay and have a meal before you leave."
Madam Wen beckoned to Sanbao, signaling him to come to her side.
She loves both of her grandchildren equally.
Sanbao knew they were his grandparents, so he straightened his back, took two steps forward, nodded, and said sweetly and softly, "Hello, Grandpa! Hello, Grandma!"
Before he could finish speaking, the adults in the courtyard were stunned.
Sanbao didn't know what he had said wrong. Everyone was staring at him in silence, making him feel uneasy.
The little black leather shoes shifted uneasily on the ground.
When Wen Qingjia returned with the fruit, she was shocked to see her sharp-tongued nephew suddenly become well-behaved and sensible, even greeting her. She quickly walked over to her brother Wen Tingye, still chewing on the grapes in her mouth, and nudged him with her arm, asking furtively, "What kind of medicine did you give Ai Xiu?"
Sanbao, who was close to Wen Tingye, felt a pang of anxiety upon hearing this, realizing that he seemed to have broken character.
Seeing so many unfamiliar relatives all at once made me a little nervous and excited. I subconsciously greeted them, forgetting that I was no longer Sanbao, but Wen Aixiu.
Not far away, Wen Baoying stood obediently beside her grandfather, tilting her head slightly and curiously observing her unusually behaving brother.
Huh? My brother's emotions are fluctuating a lot today, which is something that has never happened before.
She has been very sensitive since childhood and can accurately sense a person's emotional changes.
After thinking of something, Wen Baoying suddenly spoke to Wen Tingye: "Daddy, I miss you so much."
Wen Baoying's voice is sweet and soft, like cotton candy, fluffy and colorful, making people feel better unconsciously when they listen to it.
Everyone's attention was diverted from the Three Jewels.
Wen Tingye smiled, his icy aura vanishing, and opened his arms to his daughter.
Wearing a princess dress, Wen Baoying, like a beautiful little butterfly, ran straight into Wen Tingye's arms.
Sanbao breathed a sigh of relief. Worried that the Wen family would discover his identity, he quickly adjusted his expression, pursed his lips, and frowned slightly, mimicking Wen Aixiu's stern and unsmiling poker face to a great extent, and stopped speaking.
Seeing Daddy's complete change in attitude towards Baoying, she instantly felt even more sorry for Dabao.
After lunch, Wen Tingye picked up the two children from their grandparents' house and took them home before heading to the company.
It was rare for Wen Baoying to cling to Wen Tingye; she stood at the door waving her delicate little arm as she watched him leave.
After Wen Tingye left, Wen Baoying turned around and walked towards Sanbao, observing Sanbao's expression as she went.
Wen Baoying leaned closer to Sanbao and asked in a soft yet mysterious voice, "Who are you?"
Sanbao was startled by Wen Baoying's question, but he remained calm on the surface and laughed as he said, "Baoying, I am Aixiu."
Wen Baoying smiled slyly, "You've given yourself away. Brother Aixiu never calls me Baoying, and he never smiles."
Sanbao never expected his older sister to be so smart and observant. After thinking it over, he decided that he didn't need to hide it from her. This way, she could help him cover for his actions in the future, which would be more convenient.
He looked around to make sure no one else was present before taking Wen Baoying's hand and quietly explaining his identity, telling her about how he and Wen Aixiu had switched identities.
Wen Baoying listened quietly as Sanbao recounted the events, her expression shifting between shock and joy.
After she finished speaking, Wen Baoying remained silent, while Sanbao looked at her with a worried expression.
She was worried that her older sister would blame her mother or be angry that they had kept it from her.
After a long while, Bao Ying cautiously asked, "Can I go see Mommy too?"
Sanbao successfully brought Wen Baoying back to his home.
Inside the room, six adorable little ones sat together.
Wen Baoying was new, and everyone was staring at her. They noticed that Wen Baoying had long, soft black hair, which looked a lot like her mother.
After some discussion, the six little heads pieced together the cause and effect of the matter and found that neither Wen Aixiu and her siblings, who grew up with Wen Tingye, nor the four siblings who followed Ning Yao, knew the reason why Ning Yao and Wen Tingye separated.
But everyone shared the same idea: they wanted to live with their biological parents.
"I want Mommy." Wen Baoying tugged at the hem of Wen Aixiu's little suit jacket, her voice soft and endearing.
Wen Aixiu raised his hand and patted his sister's head; he thought the same thing.
Xiao Liu, who was standing to the side, straightened her back and clenched her little fists tightly. She rarely spoke, but this time she bravely stood up to express herself, and her cheeks were flushed.
"Let's think of a way to make Daddy and Mommy reconcile. If they do, we can live together."
Everyone agreed with Xiao Liu; as long as Daddy and Mommy could reconcile, they would be a complete family.
Wen Aixiu, whose mind is always quick, thought for a moment, her chubby face displaying an expression unbecoming of her age, and solemnly said, "Let's make a plan, plan A..."
