Chapter 100, Part 3: "Valkyrie Under the Setting Sun"

The sun is about to set; dusk has arrived.

"Ara~"

"Thank you so much, Shido-kun, for showing me so many places."

Outside the school gate, after touring the campus, Kurumi thanked Shido, then took small steps forward and whispered in his ear again:

"Actually, I'd prefer some time alone with just the two of us~"

Kurumi stepped back a few paces, looked at Shido again, ignoring Tohka's jealous eyes beside her, and said goodbye to Shido.

"Then I'll take my leave." She then left the school gate with rather ladylike small steps.

After Shido walked away, Ming, who had lost for half the afternoon, jumped off the rooftop, activated his slightly modified fifth spirit armor, and used a cognitive barrier technique to walk beside Kurumi.

"How did it go? Was it all right?" Ming asked knowingly.

Kurumi chuckled softly, "Things went fairly smoothly. A human capable of sealing a spirit's power is quite interesting. If I absorb his power, I can..."

"Interesting? This isn't like you. You don't care about others as long as you don't fool yourself. You're not me. Kurumi is a kind girl. The guilt from cannibalism must be very strong, right?"

Kurumi stopped and turned to look at Ming, her eyes filled with an unfathomable emotion.

"Yes, I understand perfectly well, so I won't stoop to that level. Don't worry, I only have one goal: to go back in time and kill the Primal Spirit!"

"Fine, I just don't want you to have fallen into depravity when Sawa sees you again."

The two walked along the path at dusk, simply chatting, just like two ordinary classmates on their way home.

Ming stepped forward and stood in front of Kuang San. The three thugs laughed when they saw Ming step forward.

"Hehe, little sister, have you thought about how to make it up to your brothers? If you come, we might consider letting your classmate off the hook~" one of them said in a sleazy tone.

Ming slightly raised his head, a cold light flashing in his eyes, which then turned into a cross as he rapidly flipped through the [Divine Eclipse Chapter] within his body.

After flipping through the pages and finding out that they had already harmed countless young girls, Ming turned to look at Kurumi and asked expressionlessly:

"Kurumi, just wondering, do you have enough [time] lately? What do you think of these? Let's just make use of them."

Kurumi quickly understood what she meant, gave a "pure" smile, and put her finger to her lips as she said:

"Well, although I've already set my sights on Shido, I'll probably need a bit more to defeat the [Princess], so I don't mind eating a little more~"

Sometime during the day, the surveillance equipment on this street had already been destroyed by a scalpel.

Before he could react, Ming's hand, as if wearing a gloved hand, touched his wrist, thanks to the reaction of the thug at the front.

Instantly, the thug felt a powerful force surge through his arm, and his body went limp as if all his strength had been drained.

Kurumi walked into the alley, and a scarlet domain covered it, occasionally emitting sharp fluctuations, while Ming from the border also grew a flaming ram's head mask from his face.

Before long, the perceptive Shinna noticed the powerful spiritual energy fluctuations emanating from Kurumi.

Upon closer inspection, the spirit committing the crime alongside Kurumi was none other than the Flame Beast, one of the two most notorious Flame Spirits in Britain!

He was squatting there, his gaze fixed on the depths of the alley, as if waiting for something important to happen.

Mana gripped the chip containing the display device [Murakumo] tightly, watching Ming warily, when suddenly a large number of AST members flew out.

Upon arriving at the location of Origami, he immediately spotted Ming's detestable figure. Instantly, boundless rage surged into his heart like a raging tide, quickly engulfing his eyes.

Enraged, his body involuntarily tensed, preparing to launch a thunderous attack on Ming.

However, at this critical moment, Ryouko Kusakabe arrived like a bolt of lightning. Her arbitrary domain instantly unfolded, and powerful energy flowed within it.

As the energy sphere came into contact with the origami, its form in mid-air was suppressed.

The conflict in the air subsided in an instant, but the battle on the ground was just beginning.

Kurumi spoke as if nothing had happened, but the red-stained wall behind her told the story of what had just occurred.

Mana frowned as she looked at the scene behind Kurumi.

"Flame Beast! Nightmare! Your actions cannot be tolerated!" The next moment, the [Murakumo] device was already on his body.

"Since I can defeat Nightmare once, what harm is there in defeating one more? Come on!"

Ming stood up, sensing that Kurumi's spiritual power had decreased significantly. After confirming that it was a clone, he crossed his arms, stomped his feet three times, and used Morse code to tell Kurumi that he could just send her away later without any need to resist.

In the next instant, Kurumi and Ming shot out like arrows released from a bow, almost simultaneously.

Upon seeing this, the AST team members reacted quickly, with Ryoko immediately releasing Origami to join the battle.

But then, something shocking happened!

Faced with such a fierce attack, Mana's [Murakumo] merely flashed lightly at her shoulder, followed by several dazzling green beams shooting out.

These green beams of light were as swift as lightning, piercing straight through Kurumi and Ming's bodies with lightning speed.

The two fell to the ground, and Ming was reduced to ashes, which scattered into the sky.

"Ah... how could this be!" Origami looked at Mei, who was instantly killed by Mana with a single shot, and couldn't believe it.

"How could this be... impossible..." Origami's pupils shrank suddenly.
