Chapter 245 Forming a rough plan
Chapter 245 Forming a rough plan
"Wait a minute, I need to look for it some more." A Ling continued to search, feeling a growing sense of urgency.
"Don't delay, A Ling! We don't have much time!" Su Ming said anxiously, his heart almost jumping out of his chest.
"I know, but..." A Ling looked up, a hint of anxiety flashing in her eyes, "If we can find more information, maybe we can deal with them more effectively."
"You're right, but we also have to consider safety." Su Ming tried hard to convince himself to remain calm, knowing that A Ling's concerns were reasonable.
Just then, several footsteps were heard outside. Su Ming's heart tightened, and he quickly grabbed A Ling. "They're coming. We have to get out immediately!"
Ah Ling's face turned pale and she nodded hurriedly. The two of them quickly walked towards the door, praying in their hearts that they could escape.
"I heard a sound." A Ling whispered, obviously extremely nervous.
"Hurry, go to the window next to you." Su Ming pointed to the side quickly, trying his best to stay calm.
They approached the window cautiously, and Su Ming pushed it open, revealing a narrow gap. The night wind, mixed with a sense of unease, blew in their faces.
"You go out first, I'll be the last one." Su Ming said quickly, his heart full of determination to protect A Ling.
"I don't want to leave you!" A Ling's voice was filled with anxiety, and she held Su Ming's hand tightly.
"Listen to me, we must separate to increase our chances of success." Su Ming's eyes were firm, and he secretly prayed in his heart that she could understand.
"Okay." A Ling finally compromised. Although she was unwilling in her heart, she knew that the decision at this moment was necessary.
Su Ming was moved and gently pushed her. "Go quickly. I'll follow you closely."
Ah Ling took a deep breath, fought off her fear, and quickly climbed out the window, disappearing into the night. Su Ming breathed a sigh of relief and followed suit.
"Run!" he whispered, hope in his eyes, and rushed towards the nearby woods. Although he was still nervous, at this moment he just wanted to find A Ling.
They moved swiftly through the darkness, the sounds around them gradually fading away, as if the hope of escape flickered ahead. Su Ming tried to stay alert, silently repeating to himself, "Don't stop."
"A Ling!" He called out softly, fearing she would get lost ahead. The whistling of the wind beside his ears seemed to convey their urgency.
"I'm here!" A Ling's voice came from behind the tree. Su Ming felt relieved and quickly approached her.
"We must find a safe place to rest and sort out the information." Su Ming said breathlessly, realizing that even if they escaped the base, their challenge was not over.
"There's a small hill over there, maybe we can hide there temporarily." A Ling pointed forward, a glimmer of hope in her eyes.
"Let's go there," Su Ming responded, secretly thinking about his next plan. They had to quickly determine the direction of their next move.
Su Ming and A Ling quickly crossed the forest path and ran up the hillside. Night enveloped them, and the occasional chirping of insects seemed to remind them to remain vigilant.
"Is it safe here?" Ah Ling looked back as she ran, still feeling uneasy. She could sense Su Ming's nervousness, and she felt anxious too.
"I should be able to hide for a while." Su Ming's voice was firm, but he was secretly calculating in his heart whether he could find a suitable hiding place.
Finally, they reached the hillside and quickly hid behind a large rock. Su Ming took a breath and tried to relax, but his heart was still beating wildly.
"Did we really escape?" A Ling's voice was low, and her face was still nervous.
"It should be, but we can't let our guard down." Su Ming looked around, trying to find any possible clues. The scene at the base flashed through his mind, and he secretly felt lucky that they had escaped safely.
"What should we do now?" A Ling asked softly, holding Su Ming's hand tightly, as if looking for a sense of security.
"Let's take a break and sort out the information we have," Su Ming said, trying to sound calm. He knew that only by clarifying his thoughts could he formulate the next plan.
"I think if they find out we've escaped, they'll definitely increase patrols." A Ling frowned, obviously worried about this.
"Then we must find a safe place as soon as possible before they react." Su Ming pondered, thinking about his next move. "Do you remember the location mentioned in the document? We can try to go there."
Ah Ling nodded, pondering the contents of the document. "Yes, there's an address that mentions... an abandoned warehouse."
"Yes, that's a relatively secluded place." Su Ming's eyes flickered with hope. "We must get there as soon as possible to ensure their plans don't affect us."
"But how far is it from here to there?" A Ling frowned slightly, and the feeling of uneasiness surged in her heart again.
"It won't be too far. We should try to choose small roads and avoid the main roads." Su Ming tried his best to appear calm, silently remembering the urgency of time.
"I believe you." A Ling's eyes showed determination. Su Ming felt her trust and became more determined.
"Then let's go." Su Ming stood up, looked around, and after making sure there were no enemies, he reached out to A Ling. She took his hand, and the two of them walked in the designated direction.
On the path, the moonlight cast a silver light through the treetops, illuminating the way forward. However, the tension in their hearts always accompanied them.
"If we can really find more information, we can fight them." A Ling tried to convince herself to stay positive, although she was still a little worried.
"Yes, this will make our efforts more meaningful." Su Ming responded, secretly hoping that this action would not be in vain.
Along the way, the two tried to avoid making any noise and remained alert. After walking for a while, they finally saw a hazy outline that looked like a warehouse.
"That's it," Su Ming whispered, his eyes gleaming with excitement. He quickened his pace, his heart filled with anticipation.
"We have to be careful, there may be enemies nearby." A Ling reminded, her nerves tense, ready to deal with emergencies at any time.
They slowly approached the warehouse and could vaguely see the shadows inside through the dilapidated windows. Su Ming felt nervous and asked softly, "Do you think it's safe inside?"
"I don't know, but we have to try." A Ling took a deep breath, her palms sweating slightly.
"Okay, let's go in together." Su Ming said softly, silently praying in his heart that everything would go well.
They carefully pushed open the warehouse door, the creaking sound particularly harsh in the quiet air. They quickly slipped in, closed the door, and the surroundings fell into darkness.
"We need to find a light source," Su Ming whispered, and began to explore the warehouse. Their eyes wandered through the darkness, searching for any possible clues.
"Look, there's a flashlight here!" A Ling suddenly found a corner, picked up the flashlight excitedly, and the light instantly illuminated the surroundings.
"Great, let's take a look at other places." Su Ming felt relieved and walked towards the depths of the warehouse. The surroundings were filled with various discarded items, like memories that no one cared about.
As they explored, Su Ming became increasingly nervous. "If there are enemies, we could be in danger."
"I'll be careful." A Ling's voice was firm, and she tried to remain calm.
"Look, there's a box here." Su Ming found a large wooden box, and excitement surged in his heart. They walked over quickly, trying to open the box and find the contents inside.
"Let's see what's inside." A Ling opened the box carefully, her heart full of anticipation.
The box was filled with various documents, and Su Ming was secretly excited. He quickly searched through the folders scattered on the ground in front of him, which seemed to contain important information.
"We have to sort it out as soon as possible." Su Ming said, praying silently in his heart, hoping to find useful clues.
"I'll help you!" Ah Ling quickly joined in, and the two of them divided the work in tacit understanding, quickly flipping through the documents. Every page might be the key to their next move.
"Here is a transportation plan!" A Ling said excitedly, with hope flashing in her eyes.
"Great, let's take a look at the details." Su Ming's heart tightened, knowing that this was an opportunity they must seize.
As more information emerged, their fighting spirit gradually ignited. Although the outside world still lurked in danger, they now knew that only by moving forward could they usher in a new dawn.
"This plan details the transportation routes and times!" Ah Ling's voice was filled with excitement, her eyes sparkling. She flipped through the documents in her hands, as if she had found the key to hope.
"This is so important!" Su Ming's heart surged with excitement, but he tried to control his emotions. He took a deep breath and quickly scanned the contents of the document. "We can use this information to disrupt their plans."
"But we have to be careful." A Ling's tone suddenly became serious. "If they find out we're here, the consequences will be disastrous."
"I understand, but we must formulate an action plan as soon as possible," Su Ming said, his mind constantly pondering the next step. He knew that this opportunity was hard-won and could not be easily let go.
"How do you think we can interfere with them?" A Ling asked, with a hint of nervous anticipation in her tone.
"We can create some false news to make them think our target is somewhere else." Su Ming began to think, and a rough plan gradually formed in his mind. "Then, we can take advantage of the opportunity to launch a surprise attack."
"But what if they don't believe it?" A Ling frowned, obviously having some concerns about this plan.
"Then we need to provide some more convincing evidence." Su Ming thought for a moment, "Perhaps we can use their communication system."
