I am the son of Harley J. Nosker from Whiting, Indiana and my mothers name is Della Covert from Union Pier,MI.
I was born in Michigan City,IN. In 1950 and raised in Buchanan, MI.
I have a son, Eric Michael Nosker who lives in Las Vegas NV. Hopefully he will take our name another generation!
I found what I read very interesting and just wanted to say hello, but I have a question on some names and dates.

My grandparents are Lester Pennington Noffsinger and Fraces Ann Noffsinger. I belevie my grandfather's father was John Barrett Noffsinger. I have a book that was my great great aunts that has obituaries and wedding anouncments from the 1800s. Her name was Nettie Nash, sister of Sophia Nash who married James L Noffsinger. I beleive James and Sophia Noffsinger were my great, great, great grandparents. I'm looking for more information on all of James and Sophia's children. I think there were 10 all together. Some of the names that i have came accross are; Maud, John B.,Eli, Leroy, Blanche, Elmer?? (i think), And I keep seeing the name Celia Noffsinger in Nettie's book, but i'm not sure of the connection.

I am the third great granddaughter of Jacob Allen Noftsker and Rachel Barkdull. I am having trouble discovering who Jacob's ancestors are. I do know that he was born in 1828 in OH. He married Rachel Barkdull in 1860 in Howard County, IN. If you or anyone has information on whom Jacob's ancestors are, please feel free to email me at red12767@yahoo.com. Can anyone tell me about Andreas Bony and his wife the former (widow)Joanna Nediger - Noethiger - ? I know they came to America in 1719 and she was one the eight, but who were her children? First husband? How was she related to the men who are listed in Rupp's list 1727 - 1755? My direct ancestor is Peter Nofsker. Was she his sister? Could she be the daughter of Rudolph who is listed as Anna?
Any info is greatly appreciated

I forgot to mention that I live in a little town called Bremen, Ky. There's Noffsingers that live here. In fact one had a barber shop and my children used to get their hair cur there. I was just wondering if we could be distant relatives??!!!
